Yes ma'am, this game is mostly played because it is a very good way to pass the time. Maybe , for some children it too gives a good boost to their mental calculation prowess as many versions have been seen popping up in the class, some in which the numbers are multiplied, some divided and some in which the digits of one number are added. So, there are many kids who unknowingly really love Mathematics!
Here's a short composition on "Odd Eve"- There are two teams, One chooses odd and one chooses eve. One wins the toss, And selects to bat or bowl, Then one of each team takes out numbers through gestures of hand, The game has really begun a new trend! If the number is same then the batting player is out, And in case of different numbers the score grows until it becomes a target for the next round. And the one who loses recommends "we play another game", And let's see who wins this odd eve fame!
I believe that its a great game because anyone can play this game anywhere and anytime and it is better to play something than to sit idle when there is no work to do.

As far as I have noticed, only boys play this game. The question that rises to my mind is why do girls don't play this game? Girls don't want to increase their mental power? Why only boys? I also know how to play odd-eve, but I have no one who can play with me. Can anyone answer these questions of mine?
deepti, its a different case in my class. whether boys are ready or not the girls are always ready to play odd-eve.So I think you should encourage your friends to play with you and still if you don't find anyone then I am always there :D

I agree that playing ODD EVE increases our mental abilities but instead of playing we can read our textbooks of mathematics and try to solve the exercises mentally which contains more difficult and interesting way of increasing our mental ability.
You may be right Aarnav, but this game makes it fun to have a boost in our mental calculations in a way that is not bad if played for sometime. And saw you the first time on the blog!

I mostly don't play odd eve but most of the students in my class play.There are a lot of versions of odd eve as it is played as soccer,baseball,cricket.
