I wish I were there. Though, I can still very well admire its beauty through these great pictures which are enough to illustrate Darjeeling's beauty. Actually I too have been there but with friends it would have been a different experience, but, after all I got to feel the fresh cool winds of Darjeeling, and it looked that plants and pots and bushes sprouted up at every turn and crack. People even covered their tin roofs with many small pots in which beautiful flowers blossomed. The sweet aroma of tea leaves in tea fields was a fragrance neither my nose nor my mind can forget! The small rail tracks to the sides of those narrow roads very well fitted in, and the most odd part was that people put up small stalls at the tracks and when the train approached they would remove the stall as if there was none there, and when stalls are put up, it looks to be a disused track! Alas! The main part of sunrise at the Tiger Hill was missed as at our visit the sky was foggy and misty and sun's rays couldn't peer their way through to our eyes. Whatever more I say is less for the praise of Darjeeling and its heavenly beauty. Sad for the commotion going up there for the partition of it as being Gorkhaland, hope it will soon be resolved.........
Oh yes Aarnav, I have been there, as I have clearly mentioned in the third line of the above written paragraph in clear and simple words to the art of understanding of a human!
Happy independence day to all. 66 years back we got independence from britishers. We the children are the future of India and we are the next freedom fighters. They faught against britishers but we'll fight against corruption. Happy Independence day!

Me and my friends - Eshaan Shah, Ansh Chopra, Amogh Jalan, Sanskar Nanda made a book named'Marvelous minds of literature' in which we included poems and stories in English and Hindi. These all were self composed. Here's a glance to a poem in the book titled 'Tragedy in Kedarnath'. The tragedy Happened in the area hilly The disaster Held in the 6th month of the year It was the saddest moment of life In which many people died Cried and cried All of them tried To save their lives. WHY GOD WHY???
Here's another poem from the book "Marvellous Minds of Literature" written by me- TIME Time is a traveller, It travels great, Makes friends with every soul, From the tender beginning of life till the end. It slips from hands, But some grasp it tight, It takes great hard work to keep it right...... Right beside us, Hold it within our reach, It is a teacher, Who teaches each........ Teaches each one on this earth, Through plenty of experience, Some put it into use, Or some just place it back among their old, forgotten memories. Time is not what is seen in watches or clocks, It is a friend; a clever friend indeed, One who guides us at every step of life; by leaving us alone at times to decide, by making us sacrifice. Our heart is where the precious time resides, And we feel the sorrow when it is lost, But happiness is pumped into our blood when it is successfully got!

ReplyDeleteThe tragedy
Happened in the area hilly
The disaster
Held in the 6th month of the year
It was the saddest moment of life
In which many people died
Cried and cried
All of them tried
To save their lives.
WHY GOD WHY???

ReplyDeleteTIME
Time is a traveller,
It travels great,
Makes friends with every soul,
From the tender beginning of life till the end.
It slips from hands,
But some grasp it tight,
It takes great hard work to keep it right......
Right beside us,
Hold it within our reach,
It is a teacher,
Who teaches each........
Teaches each one on this earth,
Through plenty of experience,
Some put it into use,
Or some just place it back among their old, forgotten memories.
Time is not what is seen in watches or clocks,
It is a friend; a clever friend indeed,
One who guides us at every step of life;
by leaving us alone at times to decide,
by making us sacrifice.
Our heart is where the precious time resides,
And we feel the sorrow when it is lost,
But happiness is pumped into our blood when it is successfully got!
